Get online in four steps

Add the details only you know. Meat Tracker creates the website and guides you through the rest.

You can change these details and add more products anytime.

  1. Name the business

Enter the business name and start the plan. Meat Tracker creates the website and gives you a link to share. The theme can be changed later.

  2. Add the details

Add the hours, address, phone number, and pickup times customers can choose. Set a delivery area if you deliver, and a flat rate if you post orders.

  3. Add the products

Add a photo, description, and price for each cut, bundle, or other product. For products sold by the pound, show the price per pound and typical package weight.

  4. Connect payouts and share

Connect a bank account through Stripe, then share the website wherever customers already find the business.

What happens when a customer orders

The customer completes the order online. You receive everything needed to prepare it and hand it over.

  1. They choose what they want

Customers browse the products and add their cuts, quantities, and other items to the order.

  2. They choose how to get it

Pickup customers choose from the times you allow. Delivery customers can order only from the ZIP codes you serve. Shipping customers pay your flat rate and give an address.

  3. They pay online

Customers pay with a card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. The paid order appears in the dashboard.

  4. You prepare the order

The order shows what was purchased and when it is due. Cut and pack the order, then mark it fulfilled, or shipped if you posted it. Pickup customers are emailed that it is ready; delivery and shipping customers are told it is on the way.

Common questions

The details to check before opening for orders.

Do I need to know how to build a website?

No. You add the business details, products, and photos. Meat Tracker creates the pages, checkout, and dashboard. No code is required.

How long does setup take?

The website is created after you submit the business name and opens to customers after the plan starts. From there, you can add your business details and products at your own pace.

What can I sell?

Cuts, sausage, bacon, boxes, bundles, eggs, tallow, rubs, sauces, and other products sold by the business.

How does pricing by the pound work?

Add the price per pound and typical package weight. Customers see both, while checkout charges one clear price for the package.

How do pickup and delivery work?

You control the pickup days, hours, notice, and window length. For local delivery, set the fee, optional free-delivery amount, and ZIP codes served. For shipping, set one flat rate per order and an optional amount that makes it free.

How do I get paid?

Payments are processed through Stripe and paid to the connected bank account. Meat Tracker takes 0% of sales; Stripe's standard card-processing fees still apply.

Can customers still call or message?

Yes. Online ordering gives customers who know what they want another way to order. Anyone who needs advice can still call, message, or visit the counter.

What about food-safety rules and licensing?

The business remains responsible for the food-safety, licensing, labeling, and sales rules that apply locally. Meat Tracker helps with the website and orders; it does not replace those requirements.
